Job Description
The incumbent ensures accountability and stewardship of UCSF Dept. of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences resources (operational financial and human) in compliance with departmental government and accrediting body standards and procedures. A portion of time may be spent performing individual tasks related to the clinic such as individual counseling de-escalation care coordination and other intake services; however supervisory and oversight of team operations constitute the primary part of the job. The incumbent will collaborate with the program directors medical director and other staff on program policy program evaluation and process improvement. The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.
Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.
The salary range for this position is $115500 - $173300 (Annual Rate).

Opiate Treatment Outpatient Program (OTOP) is operated through the UCSF Department of Psychiatry at San Francisco General Hospital in partnership with the San Francisco Department of Public Health. OTOP provides evidence-based outpatient treatment for substance use disorders with particular emphasis on medications for opioid addiction treatment.
Our clinic has rapidly been expanding intake services to increase access to methadone treatment in San Francisco. This is an exciting time to join our team as we grow and transform with the expansion of our services to best support our patients needs. We are looking for a mission-driven team leader committed to excellent de-stigmatized patient care for patients looking to change their substance use.
