Job Description
US Farathanehas been a leading source of plastics manufacturing supplying the automotive industry for over 40 years. Through highly technical research and development coupled with a diverse and knowledgeable Management Team and dedicated Associates US Farathane has continued to grow each year. We provide customers with a wide range of full-service support from black box design concepts to highly engineered composites TPEs and TPOs as well as specialized extrusion and compression technologies.
- Supervision of all manufacturing personnel; and all non-manufacturing personnel when their direct report is out of the building.
- Facilitator of all daily shift operations.
- Responsible for all personnel safety conduct and discipline.
- Responsible to ensure all internal and OSHA required safety procedures are followed.
- Responsible to ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures. (i.e. TS16949 Quality Manual etc.).
- Initial investigator of all issues involving hourly employees.
- Monitor all production equipment for maximum performance.
- Monitor all personnel for performance and adherence to procedure.
- Overseer of all on the job training.
- Enforcement of Production standards.
- Enforcement of Quality standards.
- Enforcement of Material handling standards.
- Enforcement of Housekeeping standards.
- Ensure proper and timely application of all process improvements.
- Record and enter labor scrap and finished parts to maintain inventory.
- Directly supervises employees in the manufacturing department
- Responsibilities include training employees; planning assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
- Other duties may be assigned.
- Related Bachelors Degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; two to five years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Previous automotive operations management experience preferred.
