Job Description

As a Software Engineer III - UI Developer React at JPMorgan Chase within theCommercial & Investment Bank Markets Technology Team youll serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure stable and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firms business objectives.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement user interface components for web applications.
- Collaborate effectively with UX/UI designers and developers to ensure technical feasibility of designs.
- Communicate design ideas and prototypes clearly to stakeholders.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
- Write clean maintainable and efficient code.
- Troubleshoot and resolve cross-browser compatibility issues.
- Stay updated with the latest UI trends techniques and technologies.
- Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback to improve the user experience.
- Adapt quickly to new technologies and frameworks as required by project demands.
Required qualifications capabilities and skills :
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3 years applied experience
- Proven experience as a UI Developer or similar role.
- Proficiency in HTML CSS and JavaScript.
- Experience with CSS preprocessors such as SASS or LESS.
- Familiarity with responsive design principles and frameworks (e.g. Bootstrap Foundation).
- Experience with JavaScript frameworks/libraries such as React Angular or .
- Strong understanding of web standards and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills attention to detail and Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to articulate design concepts and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred qualifications capabilities and skills :
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Familiarity with design tools like Adobe Creative Suite Sketch or Figma.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices.
- Experience with performance optimization techniques.
- Experience withany knowledge on public cloud with certification is a plus
