As part of the Corporate Records Management Team the Senior Enterprise Records Analyst serves as a strategic leader in the Nova Scotia records management community in advancing the enterprise-wide transformation of the management of records including the strategic implementation of digitally focussed records management program components. The Senior Analyst develops and implements strategic policies standards guidelines procedures and frameworks provides expert assistance in all facets of records management to clients and fosters cross-departmental collaboration. The role engages with a wide variety of program staff at all levels within departmental records management programs to promote scalability compliance and cultural transformation.
This position reports to the Manager Corporate Records Management.

To be successful in this role you will have graduated from University at the Bachelors level with a minimum of five years related experience in records management or a Masters Degree plus three years related experience. An acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
You must demonstrate considerable knowledge of the theory and practise of records management.
You will also have:
Experience with enterprise platforms (e.g. M365 FileNet or similar ERMS) and records management tools
Experience developing or implementing records management policies directives and standards and other guidance and providing advice and assistance with their implementation.
Experience developing or implementing recordkeeping systems classification schemes and retention schedules.
Familiarity with AI applications in records management (e.g. automated classification OCR) is an asset
Knowledge of M365 (SharePoint Purview) FileNet and AI-driven analytics

Ability to assess records management maturity analyze compliance data and recommend process improvements.
Strong written and verbal communication to develop policies deliver training and engage stakeholders. Ability to simplify complex concepts for non-expert users.
Experience in driving cultural shifts managing resistance and promoting user adoption through training and campaigns.
Ability to work with cross-functional teams including IT FOIPOP offices Nova Scotia Archives and small agencies.

We will assess the above qualifications and competencies using one or more of the following tools: written examination standardized tests oral presentations interview(s).

Pay Grade: PR 13

Salary Range: $2556.10- $3107.16Bi-Weekly
