Position: Full- time permanent HC Driver.
Locations:Based inDandenong and depotsrunning to our Melbourne Metra sites.
Hours: Day shift with 6am starts Monday - Friday.
What youll do:
- Operate single combinations for timely and efficient freight pick-up and delivery.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle compliance and safety.
- Maintain accurate electronic reports and other required documentation.
- Comply with all transport regulations including Fatigue Management and Chain of Responsibility laws.
- Secure freight according to load restraint guidelines.
What You Will Bring:
- Valid HC License with a minimum of 2 years of recent Australian driving experience.
- Experience with tautliners flatbeds retractable or container trailers.
- Knowledge of Melbourne Metro routes.
- Clean 5-year driving history and willingness to complete Visys Practical Driver Assessment.
- Effective communication and time management skills with a commitment to safety and teamwork.
- Understanding of road fatigue and load restraint laws.
- BFM Certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Pride in maintaining well-presented vehicles and equipment.
