Due to continued growth a dynamic and forward-thinking accountancy practice is seeking an Audit Senior to join their thriving team. Based in Leeds youll be part of an independent firm with nearly 30 years of experience providing comprehensive accounting audit and tax services to a diverse and enviable client base predominantly owner-managed and family businesses.
The Opportunity:
This exciting role involves leading on-site audit fieldwork at client premises engaging directly with senior management and effectively managing your audit team. Youll report to an Audit Manager or directly to a Partner taking full responsibility for the completion of audit files and drafting audited financial statements.
What Were Looking For:
- Qualified ACA or ACCA (or exam finalist) with at least two years of external audit experience. Ideally this experience will primarily involve auditing UK owner-managed and family businesses reporting under FRS102.
- A minimum of twelve months experience leading on-site audit assignments and reporting to audit managers and partners.
- Strong accounts experience.
- An excellent communicator who thrives as part of a growing team adept at interacting with clients and team members of varying experience levels.
- Full UK driving licence and car.
- Strong Excel skills are essential and experience with ProAudit IRIS and SAGE is preferred.
