Job Description

Salary Range:
$22.00 To $29.00 Hourly

Custom Truck One Source (CTOS) 2370 English Street St Paul 55109


Assembly Technicians (Mechanical Skills Electrical Hydraulics Welding)

You will install and customize equipment on a variety of new specialty trucks used by utility companies rail telecom infrastructure forestry services and other specialty equipment operators.

Day Shift 7am 3:30pm Monday - Friday OT as needed
Must have tools related work experience
Electrical schematic / blueprints hydraulic welding and related experience

Production Upfit

Truck / Chassis prep.
Attach body to the chassis crane welder etc.
Attach out-riggers tool chest etc.
Electrical 12 volt wiring etc. / Hydraulics etc.
Finals Stage
Quality Control Check
Duties and Responsibilities:

Building and Customizing aerial heavy & light duty vehicles with a variety of parts to customer specs.
Wiring electrical components to an assortment of vehicles.
Plumbing Hydraulics on an assortment of vehicles.
Reading and understanding repair orders.
Properly allocating time spent on repair orders.
Produce a product that are up to CTOS quality standards.
Ensure a timely turnaround of vehicles.
Communicate between several departments
Create a safe working environment.
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED is required
Vocational Technical School / Military Wheeled Mechanic / OJT or related training a plus
ASE Mechanics Welding certifications are a plus
Physical effort to move objects and tools that may weigh up to 75 pounds; frequent stooping bending squatting and kneeling
Ability to use various windows-based computer software.
