The opportunity
Join the Grid Integration team at Hitachi Energy and help shape the secure future of power systems. As a Cyber Security Network Engineer based in Raleigh NC (hybrid) youll play a key role in protecting and optimizing the digital infrastructure behind our energy solutions. This is your chance to work on high-impact projects involving DCS SCADA and HMI networksensuring theyre secure resilient and ready for tomorrow. How youll make an impact
Manage project schedules budgets and design reviews
Lead Factory Acceptance Testing and support site commissioning
Strengthen cybersecurity across OT and IT infrastructure
Collaborate with customers and sub-suppliers during FAT/SAT
Provide hands-on support for routers firewalls switches and servers
Drive change management and continuous improvement
Create and maintain project documentation
Promote a culture of safety integrity and collaboration
Your background
Bachelors degree in Electrical Electronics or related engineering field
3 years of experience in network or OT systems
Strong knowledge of VLANs VPNs RBAC PKI and cybersecurity protocols
Experience with VMware GCP or Hyper-V environments
Familiarity with Windows OS and standards like 62443 NERC CIP
Exposure to tools like NESSUS Nmap McAfee ePO
Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States
