Position: Registered Nurse (RN) - Full Time Day and every other weekend 7a.m. - 7 p.m.

Pay Rate: Starting at $37.25 per hour based on experience

Weekend Shift Differential: $3.50 per hour

Retention Bonus: Full time $10000

About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity to utilize your RN clinical and hospitality skills in our 30-bed Skilled Nursing Unit. (Day shift nurse to resident ratio is 15). Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. RN currently licensed by the State of Alabama.
  2. At least 6 months of nursing experience preferably with geriatric involvement.

Your Responsibilities:

  1. Administer medications.
  2. Administer treatments including dressings catheterization suctioning oxygen etc.
  3. Assist in direct resident care as necessary.
  4. Maintain accurate documentation of medication administered and care rendered.
  5. Assist in admission and discharge procedures.
  6. Respond to resident emergency call systems as indicated.
  7. Make rounds with physicians and transcribe orders.
  8. Keep physicians and families aware of changes in residents conditions.
  9. Maintain the self-respect personal dignity and physical safety of each patient.
  10. Assure continuity of services and care.
  11. Attend in-service training and education sessions as assigned.
  12. Perform specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.
