Position Summary
The Division of Reproductive Medicine is hiring a Full-Time Ultrasound Sonographer to help us BUILD FAMILIES. This individual will assist with our IVF monitoring visits and embryo transfers. We are seeking those who are detail-oriented and ready to provide compassionate care.
Experience in OBGYN Viewpoint and Epic is helpful but not required. Opportunity to participate in research and work alongside experts in the field of IVF and use advanced technology. We welcome new graduates to apply.
Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
- Performs ultrasound examinations per scanning protocols correcting patient history with examination and presents study to physician for examination while adhering to patient schedules.
- Assists physicians with procedures providing sonographic guidance during process obtains necessary supplies and equipment and monitors patient needs assisting physicians with patient support.
- Teaches ultrasound procedures and techniques to visitors in the department such as residents students fellows and new sonographers and enhances own professional growth and development through participation in educational programs current literature inservice meetings and conferences.
- Maintains documentation as required including patient files performs data entry and completes paperwork needed for procedures/processes.
- Develops film through automatic processing monitoring darkroom supplies and equipment.
- Maintains established departmental policies and procedures objectives quality assurance safety environmental and infection control standards.
- Performs phlebotomy and injections when required.
- Assists with maintaining supplies and equipment.
- Assists clerical staff with front desk support when needed.

Salary Range
$35.99 - $55.79 / Hourly
The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including ones qualifications and performance equity with others in the department market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
