Job Description
Overview
Reports to: Adult Day Services Director Kelley Bauman LSW
Schedule: Monday Thursday: Part-time (between 8a-5p)
Tasks:
- Responsible in helping to create and implement planned fulfilling activities for our participants.
- Provides individual care to and supervision of the participants.
- Responsible for safely transporting participants to and from the program escorting adult day services participants to and from vehicles providing support and supervision of participants.
Qualifications
- Ideal candidate should have experience in providing personal care activities and/or social/recreational programs.
- Must possess the ability to understand written and oral instructions.
- Must be a high school graduate or have successfully completed a GED.
- Must pass Criminal Background Check with no disqualifying offenses.
- Must possess a valid Ohio Drivers License with at least 2 years driving experience.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain driving privileges per The Salvation Army standards.
- Must be able to obtain a signed statement from a licensed physician stating the driver has no medical or physical condition that may impedesafe driving passenger assistance emergency treatment or the health and welfare of the participant or general public.
- Must pass drug and alcohol screenings.
