Job Title: Part 2 Architectural Assistant
Location:Brentwood
Salary:28000 - 33000
Aztrum is excited to be collaborating with a progressive award-winning architectural practice based in Chelmsford. Renowned for delivering high-quality masterplanning and large-scale residential projects this ambitious studio is expanding their head office team to meet growing project demands. They are now seeking a talented and driven Part 2 Architectural Assistant to support the design and technical development of residential-led schemes across the UK.
Key responsibilities for the Part 2 Architectural Assistant:
- Work on residential projects of varying scale and complexity.
- Assist in the creation of detailed planning application documentation.
- Translate client requirements into innovative and buildable design solutions.
- Produce visually engaging layouts and annotated materials to convey design intent.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to achieve key project milestones.
- Liaise with planning authorities and clients across the South and East of England.
Key requirements for the Part 2 Architectural Assistant:
- RIBA Part 2 qualification or equivalent degree in Architecture.
- At least 3 years experience within a UK-based practice preferably in residential or masterplanning work.
- Proven track record in delivering housing projects for developers land promoters or housebuilders.
- Comfortable engaging with planning departments and private clients.
- Proficient in AutoCAD Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Sound understanding of UK planning frameworks and building regulations.
- Excellent organisational visual and communication skills.
- A collaborative team player with a strong design ethos and a standout portfolio.
