Job Summary
The Student Mail Courier assists staff in the daily functions of the busy and fast paced Mailing Services Department. Mail couriers will work at Mailing Services in Tyson Hall as well as delivering mail across campus and to local post office. This position will report to the Mail Services Lead in Mailing Services. ** Currently looking for availability on Tuesdays and Thursdays for the month of July and more shifts available beginning in August and continuing on through the next school year. Your availability must be during our business hours Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. 4:00 p.m. only. No evening or weekend shifts.
Minimum Qualifications
Must have valid drivers license Must consent to a driving record background check Be able to lift 50 lbs. Strong attention to detail Able to work for long periods of time outdoors in all elements Extensive walking stooping and bending Maintain appropriate dress for handling of large packages and equipment Excellent customer service Be able to work independently with limited supervision in a fast paced environment Strong communication skills Maintain a professional demeanor at all times
