Litigation Paralegal

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our clients Corporate Legal Operations Department. This position supports commercial real estate operations handling matters ranging from eviction proceedings to lease enforcement. The ideal candidate will have strong real estate and litigation experience and enjoy working in a fast-paced collaborative legal environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Draft legal notices including default demand termination relocation and abandonment notices
Correspond with tenants and attorneys to resolve disputes and accounts receivable issues
Negotiate and document settlement agreements related to lease enforcement
Conduct due diligence reviews and analyze lease provisions including CAM co-tenancy and exclusivity clauses
Evaluate relocation rights radius restrictions and termination clauses
Prepare litigation evaluations and collectability analyses
Initiate and monitor unlawful detainer and breach of lease actions
Assist with tenant bankruptcies collections subpoenas and legal holds
Support construction defect litigation and monitor mechanics liens
Collaborate with Property Management and Leasing to mitigate legal risks
Provide legal support across company departments to resolve legal disputes
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree required
Paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program required
3 years of law firm or in-house paralegal experience
Strong background in real estate law including commercial landlord/tenant matters and litigation
