The Chickering Elementary School is seeking an interventionist to support and assist classroom teachers and coaches with modeling and implementing strategies and content-specific pedagogy to provide student support and accelerate progress. The interventionist will utilize student assessments and data to improve student : Supports the schools Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) model by providing Tier II or Tier III interventions in literacy math and/or social emotional learning (SEL) using research-based instructional strategies/programs. Provides both classroom push-in and pull-out services for students. Supports the literacy math and/or SEL programs alongside classroom teachers coaches and building leaders. May work with small groups of students to reinforce material initially introduced by the teacher. Regularly assesses student performance and communicates with classroom teachers Provides information to the Student Success Team regarding student response to interventions in order to determine next steps. Participates in assessment sweeps administering screeners and diagnostic assessments in math and literacy for MTSS Data Team conversations. Additional responsibilities as assigned by the hourly rate is $23.92 plus $1950 StipendQualifications Bachelor-level coursework in the field of education or a related area preferred Experience supporting students using strategies for differentiated instruction. Strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
