Key Responsibilities:
Student Support Services:
Act as a liaison for student inquiries related to the Early Childhood Department directing them to appropriate resources or personnel.
Provide information and support regarding scholarships apprenticeships and workforce development initiatives.
Departmental Coordination:
Assist with scheduling materials preparation and communication for faculty and staff professional development sessions.
Coordinate logistics for external training events or webinars hosted by the department.
Support faculty and staff with clerical tasks as needed.
Ensure compliance with campus policies and grant guidelines.
Work with faculty to create spreadsheets or forms as needed.
Resource Management:
Monitor and manage department inventories including classroom materials office supplies and event resources.
Assist in the preparation and distribution of learning materials ensuring alignment with department objectives.
Marketing and Outreach Support:
Assist with creating and distributing department newsletters flyers or other
communications to students faculty and/or community partners.
Help coordinate recruitment events open houses and community engagement
initiatives to promote the Early Childhood program.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
Compile and analyze data related to program outcomes student progress and grant deliverables.
Assist with preparing reports for internal stakeholders and grant compliance reviews.
Grant and Funding Assistance:
Assist in tracking grant-funded resources and outcomes.
Support the development of proposals for additional funding opportunities as needed.
Other duties that contribute to the vision and mission of the department may be assigned.
Qualifications
Required:
Associates degree.
Experience in Early Childhood Education Child Development or a related field.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with educational institutions and community partners.
Strong organizational communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency with educational technologies Google Suite Microsoft applications and WorkDay.
Preferred:
Knowledge of apprenticeship programs workforce development initiatives and
scholarship programs such as T.E.A.C.H. Early Childhood Indiana.
Familiarity with NAEYC Higher Education Accreditation Standards and Competencies.
