Sr. Software Technologist - Cloud (AWS)Job Description
As part of the cloud journey of Vue PACS we need to staff cloud engineers who can enable the migration and modernization of the on-prem tech stack to the cloud.
Key Responsibilities
Design Implement and manage the PACS solution on the cloud
Lead the modernization of the current stack to AWS hosted with a phased migration towards a cloud-native architecture
Monitor and optimize the performance and cost of AWS resources.
Implement and maintain security best practices and compliance requirements within the AWS environment.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues collaborating with operations teams.
Participate in on-call rotation for critical support.
Document solution configurations and procedures.
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree or equivalent in Computer Science Engineering or related field; or equivalent work experience.
10 years of experience in application development using C C# or Java
4 years of experience in AWS related technologies
Good understanding of DevOps processes and tools
Knowledge of scripting languages
Strong problem-solving multi-tasking and organizational skills.
Demonstrable experience of working on a team that is geographically dispersed.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Cloud Certification (AWS)
Experience of working in Healthcare Informatics solutions
Experience with Container technologies
Experience working in Linux environment
