Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated SQL developer with solid experience in Python and general-purpose programming to join our team in Pune. This role is for someone who thrives in a data rich environment and enjoys building reliable scalable and efficient solutions that power key business insights applications and system integrations.
Roles and Responsibilities
Design develop and optimize complex SQL queries stored procedures and database solutions.
Integrate SQL databases with Python-based scripts for data processing automation and ETL tasks.
Collaborate with product managers analysts and developers to understand data requirements and deliver actionable results.
Resolve end user reporting problems through collaboration with IT and Operations
Help write and optimise stored procedures and ETL processes
Write clean maintainable and testable code in Python with contributions to other software modules where required (e.g. APIs backend tools).
Ensure data accuracy integrity and performance tuning of queries and databases.
Participate in code reviews data architecture discussions and continuous improvement initiatives.
Work with all levels of development including analysis implementation and support
Requirements
4-6 years of professional experience in SQL development (PostgreSQL MySQL MS SQL or similar).5 years in SQL server database development
Proficiency in Python for scripting data manipulation and automation.
Skilled at optimising large complicated T-SQL statements
Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git).
Knowledge of writing stored procedures reading query plans tuning indexes and troubleshooting performance bottlenecks
Good proficiency with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
Good problem solving analytical and communication abilities
