Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant Java AWS Developer
We are seeking a skilled Java Developer with strong AWS cloud experience to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will design develop and deploy scalable backend services and cloud-native applications using Java and AWS services. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure high-performance software solutions.
Responsibilities
Design develop and maintain scalable microservices using Java (Spring Boot).
Develop and deploy applications in AWS using services such as EC2 Lambda S3 RDS DynamoDB CloudFormation and API Gateway.
Work with DevOps and CI/CD pipelines using CodePipeline Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
Ensure security scalability and reliability of systems in production environments.
Write unit integration and automated tests.
Troubleshoot and optimize application performance and scalability issues.
Collaborate with product managers architects and QA teams throughout the SDLC.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications / Skills
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field.
AWS certification (e.g. AWS Certified Developer Associate or higher).
Experience with Terraform CloudFormation or other IaC tools.
Knowledge of messaging systems like SNS/SQS Kafka or RabbitMQ.
Familiarity with front-end technologies or API documentation tools (e.g. Swagger/OpenAPI).
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
hands-on experience in Java (8 or higher).
Solid experience with Spring Boot / Spring Cloud.
Strong knowledge of AWS cloud services and cloud-native development.
Experience with REST APIs JSON and microservices architecture.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines Git and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
Understanding of secure coding practices and cloud security fundamentals.
Experience with logging/monitoring tools such as CloudWatch ELK or Datadog.
