We are committed to supporting people in our community who are impacted by harm and creating an individualized plan to help them heal and move forward to reach their personal and academic goals. We also work diligently to teach our community about healthy relationships and how to safely intervene if they see something potentially harmful happening.

Performs case management utilization review quality assurance and care planning including assessment identification of specific needs and social service intervention within the University. Serves as a campus resource for faculty staff students parents and community members.
This is a case manager position and will serve also as a campus advocate. Advocates support students faculty and staff who have experienced interpersonal violence including physical and emotional abuse sexual assault dating violence stalking or other forms of trauma. They provide confidential emotional support case management safety planning and guidance through campus and legal reporting processes. The advocate also connects individuals with on- and off-campus resources and helps promote a safe campus environment through outreach and education.
Advocates will provide support and advocacy for students faculty and staff impacted by interpersonal violence including physical emotional or sexual abuse.
1. Conducts individualized assessments to identify students academic personal and social needs developing tailored intervention plans to support their success and well-being.
ongoing case management and support by monitoring student progress coordinating campus and community resources and advocating for necessary accommodations or services.
3. Collaborates with faculty staff and campus partners to address student concerns ensuring a holistic approach to student success and retention.
4. Serves as a primary contact for students in crisis or distress offering guidance referrals and intervention strategies to promote stability and academic persistence.
5. Maintains detailed and confidential records of student interactions ensuring compliance with university policies and relevant regulations while facilitating seamless communication among support teams.
6. Leads prevention and outreach efforts by developing educational programs training sessions and awareness campaigns to promote student well-being and resilience.
Education: Bachelors Degree
Experience: (3) Three Years Experience
An equivalent combination of related experience and education may be considered for this role. Substitutions of the required experience or education will be assessed on a 1:1 substitution basis.
A Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology Social Work or related field from an accredited four-year college or University is preferred but a Bachelors degree in a related field is required.
