About us
Wintringham is a specialised non-religious not-for-profit welfare organisation. We are committed to providing older people who are at risk or have experienced homelessness with a range of high-quality care housing and services. We employ more than 1000 staff across Victoria and Tasmania.
The Ron Conn Production kitchen is a state-of-the-art kitchen specifically designed to provide a high quality food and nutritional service for the residents of the Wintringham Aged Care homes.
Your new role
We are currently seeking an experienced Chef / Trade Cook to join our Production Kitchen on a Full Time basis for 14 days per fortnight. This position will run the food service and be responsible for the preparation cooking storage delivery and service of appetising and nutritious meals. Reporting to the Executive Chef you will be responsible for supervising a small team of Food Service Assistants ensuring safe food practices are followed and adequate stock levels are maintained. The available shifts may range from (0630am to 230pm) or (1100am to 0700pm) depending on your best availability.
