Position Title:2026 Unaccredited Plastic Surgery Registrar
Classification: HM25 - HM30
Salary per hour (exc. super): as per award
Hours per fortnight: 86 (inclusive of 10 hours training time)

Employment Status: Full Time Fixed Term (commencing February 2026) 2 Positions available

The unaccredited registrar will be responsible for coordinating the care of both inpatients and outpatients working closely with plastic and reconstructive surgery consultants. The role includes participation in the weekend roster. There will be significant opportunities for operating theatre exposure both as the primary operator and first assistant with scheduled elective theatre sessions included in the roster.

A well-established registrar teaching program is in place and regular interaction with medical students and junior medical staff will provide opportunities to develop teaching skills. Additionally registrars will have access to a surgical mentorship program to support development in non-clinical core skills such as teaching and research.

Your New Division

The Clinical Operations Division encompasses acute allied health cancer and mental health services. We provide a wide range of general medical surgical and specialty services including but not limited to; Oncology Cardiology Renal Emergency Womens and Childrens Critical Care Specialist Clinics Cancer Clinics and Mental Health Services. Our Allied Health teams provide a diverse range of programs and person centred care in inpatient outpatient community home and residential care settings.
