Our client a well-established business advisory firm is looking to recruit an Accounting Senior to join their growing team.
Location: On site - flexible - Mosta
Responsibilities:
As an Accounting Senior your broad responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Provide accounting services and support to clients responding to various requests in a timely and professional mannerSupervise and guide junior accountants including reviewing their work and offering coaching as neededPlan and manage deliverables across a client portfolio working independently prioritising tasks and meeting deadlinesReport portfolio updates to management and assist in monitoring team performance and efficiencyPrepare accountancy files for audit and liaise with client auditors as requiredPrepare management accounts in line with applicable accounting frameworksSupport in presenting management accounts to clientsPrepare and submit VAT Returns and Recap Declarations on behalf of clientsRequirements:
Fully qualified accountantMinimum of two to three years of local experience in a similar roleFamiliarity with payroll processes will be considered an assetSolid understanding of VAT regulationsStrong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionallyProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and standard office toolsWhats in it for you
