Our client a well-established business advisory firm is looking to recruit an Accounting Senior to join their growing team.

Location: On site - flexible - Mosta

Responsibilities:

As an Accounting Senior your broad responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Provide accounting services and support to clients responding to various requests in a timely and professional manner
  • Supervise and guide junior accountants including reviewing their work and offering coaching as needed
  • Plan and manage deliverables across a client portfolio working independently prioritising tasks and meeting deadlines
  • Report portfolio updates to management and assist in monitoring team performance and efficiency
  • Prepare accountancy files for audit and liaise with client auditors as required
  • Prepare management accounts in line with applicable accounting frameworks
  • Support in presenting management accounts to clients
  • Prepare and submit VAT Returns and Recap Declarations on behalf of clients
    • Requirements:

    • Fully qualified accountant
    • Minimum of two to three years of local experience in a similar role
    • Familiarity with payroll processes will be considered an asset
    • Solid understanding of VAT regulations
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and standard office tools
