We are seeking a seasoned Product Owner to lead two major software and implementation initiatives over the next 12 months. This role requires strong ownership cross-functional coordination and the ability to drive execution across internal development and enterprise systems teams.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Custom In-House Application Development
- Oversee an internal development team working on a proprietary application (currently 20% complete).
- Manage timelines requirements gathering testing and deployment cycles.
- Ensure alignment between business needs and technical execution.
2. Microsoft Dynamics 365 Implementation
- Lead the ongoing phased implementation of Dynamics D365.
- Focus on the operational phase (currently deployed for 6 months) and upcoming supply chain management phase (next 6 months).
- Coordinate pilots manage development resources and ensure successful execution.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage training plans (not delivering training directly).
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and prioritize feature requests.
- Maintain clear communication across technical and business teams.
Required Experience:
- Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar leadership role in software development and enterprise system implementations.
- Familiarity with Microsoft technologies including SQL Server and .NET (coding not required but technical fluency is essential).
- Experience in managing cross-functional teams and complex project timelines.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
