About :
We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team at a power generation facility in Tehachapi CA. This role requires hands-on expertise in mechanical maintenance of gas and steam turbines with a strong preference for experience working on Siemens 501F units. Ideal candidates will also have solid millwright skills and a commitment to safety and reliability in an industrial environment.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance inspections and repairs on rotating equipment including gas and steam turbines.
- Support major turbine overhauls and scheduled outages especially involving Siemens 501F and other Frame Gas Turbines.
- Carry out millwright duties such as machinery alignment disassembly/reassembly and precision mechanical fitting.
- Follow strict safety procedures and plant operational protocols to ensure optimal performance and compliance.
- Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to diagnose and resolve mechanical equipment issues.
- Hands-on experience with Siemens 501F gas turbines.
- Strong knowledge of Frame Gas Turbine systems and components.
- Proven millwright experience with large-scale industrial equipment.
- Familiarity with steam turbine maintenance and operation.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals blueprints and mechanical drawings.
