About:
Were seeking a Tooling Engineer to lead the design and development of forge tooling and process strategies at our Green Bay WI location. In this role youll collaborate with sales manufacturing and engineering teams to create tooling solutions that exceed customer expectations. This position requires a strong background in forging processes solid technical expertise and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Lead tooling design and support manufacturing and sales teams with technical solutions.
- Perform feasibility studies and process simulations to optimize part production.
- Support customers during pre- and post-sales stages with troubleshooting and technical guidance.
- Maintain technical documentation manuals and training materials.
- Provide market and technology insights to support product improvements and strategic decisions.
- Act as a liaison between customers and engineering teams for tooling enhancements and custom solutions.
- Develop and uphold internal tooling design standards.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in English with strong communication skills.
- Knowledge of forging metal forming and tooling design principles.
- Skilled in CAD software .(SolidWorks AutoCAD or similar)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Team-oriented with cross-department collaboration experience.
- Eagerness to grow expertise in forging and tooling design.
- Familiarity with IATF 16949 manufacturing standards.(preferred)
- Willing to travel domestically and internationally for customer and industry engagements.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- 2 5 years of hands-on experience in tooling design and development.
