72 months experience working on the NYS Affordable Care Act (ACA) or other State-based or Federal health exchange.

60 months of experience with State based or Federal health exchanges with specific focus on eligibility determination rules and Affordable Care Act (Federal) rules.

60 months of experience developing applications using Java/J2ee Spring Boot and Full Stack technologies and using Angular for front end development.

60 months of experience with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) 834 transactions generated by a State based health exchange for Medicaid CHP and Essential Plan program recipients.

Detailed Job Description: New York State of Health (NYSoH) is New Yorks official health plan marketplace established by Executive Order No. 42. The temporary personnel services requested are needed to support the on-going operational activities for information technology systems consistent with enrollment goals and federal and state law and rules. The Software Architect will work closely with NYSoH program staff vendors and other stakeholders to define requirements for the NYSoH and in Operations and Maintenance of the system. The Software Architect will apply a wide range of tools and techniques to elicit analyze communicate and validate requirements for the NYSoH and to troubleshoot production issues.Employment Type
