Job Description
We are a Managed Service Provider (MSP) and we provide IT solutions and support for businesses in East Tennessee and other areas. Our team members need to reside within a reasonable distance of our main office since this position is not remote a position and requires daily in-person attendance.
Purpose:
Perform diversified technical and administrative tasks using independent judgment and actions. Work with workstations servers network equipment physical and virtual servers cloud technologies and services Windows domains Microsoft 365 standard and advanced services client specific technology and hardware support on-site and on-call support as required. Providing support to customers team members and the management team is key to the success of this position.
Areas of Expertise Desired:
- Experience working in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) Level 2 or higher position preferred
- Network support and configuration (firewall switch router access point Internet access).
- Server virtualization (Hyper-V and/or VMware).
- Windows Server support configuration and administration Server 2025 and earlier.
- Microsoft 365 Cloud Services and Applications desired (SharePoint Exchange Outlook etc..
- Microsoft 365 Identity Intune and other advanced services desired.
- Windows desktop and laptop support Windows 11 and earlier.
- Microsoft SQL experience desired.
- Microsoft Exchange experience desired.
- Mac desktop and laptop experience desired.
- Mobile device experience and mobile device management tools desired.
- Systems security and compliance knowledge and experience desired.
Position Standards:
- Experience supporting business level technology solutions for a minimum of two years.
- Associates or higher degree in a relevant discipline is preferred.
- Relevant and current technology certifications preferred.
- Valid drivers license proof of insurance and clean driving record required.
- Clean background check and drug screen required.
- Requires that successful candidate live within 35 miles of our office since this position is not a remote position.
Position Information:
Salary is negotiable according to individual qualifications. This position is an exempt salary position. Current federal law requires identification and eligibility verification prior to employment. Only US citizens authorized to work in the United States may be employed. The position is based in Morristown TN and is not a remote position. You must report daily to our office for work.
