Core Requirements:
PhD (mandatory) in Computational Neuroscience Cognitive Science Electrical Engineering Experimental Psychology Audio Engineering Acoustics Computer Science Biomedical Engineering or related field
Proven experience conducting pilot listening tests and other perceptual studies
Strong background in auditory perception research
Proficient in scientific programming using Matlab Python C or R
Demonstrated experience in publishing and communicating research in academic or industrial settings
Experience in fast-paced research or product development environments
Strong interpersonal skills attention to detail and organizational capabilities
Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate across cross-functional teams
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and execute perceptual audio research projects and pilot tests
Analyze results and report findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Track project dependencies and proactively manage risks
Support team scientists and engineers with research operations
Manage equipment procurement and external vendor services
Contribute to the mission of redefining human auditory experience through innovation
