Job Description
We are urgently seeking for the below position.
FIREMAN
(The company is as a leading EPC service provider and Equipment supplier to the Oil & Gas Defence and Power Sector in India.
- Position: Fireman
- Location: ONGC Offshore Platform
- Salary: 20000 to 22500
- Experience: 1 to 3 years
- Qualification: Completion of a recognized firefighting course .
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Ensure fire safety and prevention protocols are strictly implemented on the offshore platform.
- Respond promptly to fire emergencies extinguishing fires and minimizing damage to equipment and personnel.
- Conduct regular inspections of firefighting equipment and facilities to ensure they are in optimal working condition.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on fire safety procedures and protocols.
- Assist in emergency evacuation procedures during hazardous situations.
- Maintain clear communication with team members and supervisors during fire emergencies.
- Document fire incidents and provide detailed reports for assessment and review.
Skills and Competencies:
- In-depth knowledge of firefighting techniques and equipment handling.
- Ability to perform under high-pressure situations with a focus on safety and efficiency.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Physical fitness and stamina to handle demanding tasks.
Additional Requirements:
- Willingness to work in offshore environments including rotating shifts.
- Commitment to adhere to the safety standards set by ONGC.
