Precision Imaging Centers is currently hiring a Part-Time MRI Technologist Assistant to support our Beach Blvd outpatient imaging center in Jacksonville FL. This role offers a consistent schedule and paid time off making it ideal for those seeking both stability and work-life balance.
Tuesdays & Thursdays: 2 PM 10 PM
As an MRI Technologist Assistant you ll play a vital role in supporting our MRI team by delivering excellent patient care maintaining workflow efficiency and ensuring safety. This fast-paced role requires a blend of professionalism attention to detail and physical stamina.
Greet patients and obtain safety screening/history
Perform venipuncture (as needed)
Assist with patient positioning and exam preparation
Coordinate workflow to maintain efficiency
Ensure accurate order verification
Provide patient education and reassurance
Perform light housekeeping room sanitization and restocking
High School Diploma or GED required
1 year of experience with medical terminology preferred
MRI safety awareness and experience assisting with MRI exams preferred
Venipuncture required
Phlebotomy and BLS certification preferred
Strong communication and time management
Compassionate and patient-focused
Able to lift/move 25 lbs and remain on feet for extended periods

Education
High School Diploma or GED required 1+ year of experience with medical terminology preferred MRI safety awareness and experience assisting with MRI exams preferred Venipuncture required Phlebotomy and BLS certification preferred
Full Time
