Albuquerque NM BSN Program Per Diem Faculty Oversight
Looking to lead with impact and help build something meaningful in the nursing education space This leadership role sits at the intersection of teaching operations and innovation in a workforce development (WFD) setting not a traditional campus position. Youll be shaping the future of BSN nursing education while mentoring instructors and supporting regulatory readiness behind the scenes.
What Youll Be Doing
Split your time between instructional leadership and program coordination (50/50 balance).
Oversee 8 10 nursing faculty members (plus support staff) providing mentorship scheduling support and accountability.
Ensure compliance with all relevant policies audits and regulatory guidelines.
Help develop and grow the BSN curriculum with a focus on quality instruction and student outcomes.
Bring operational savvy especially around managing schedules supporting accreditation efforts and problem-solving.
Remain adaptable to flexible scheduling needs including occasional evening or weekend hours.
Requirements
A BSN (required) and enrollment in an MSN program (MSN can be sponsored).
At least 2 years of experience teaching in a nursing program.
A current unrestricted RN license in New Mexico.
Proven ability to manage both instructional and administrative responsibilities.
Comfort leading remote per diem faculty and staff across a non-campus model.
Flexibility organization and a passion for helping programs (and people) succeed.

What You ll Bring Candidates must meet one of the following qualification pathways: Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) with: An associate degree (in any field) and at least 6 years of recent bedside experience, OR A bachelor's degree (in any field) and at least 3 years of recent bedside experience OR Registered Nurse (RN) with: A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and at least 3 years of recent direct patient care experience What Helps You Stand Out Prior teaching or clinical instruction experience Familiarity with BVNPT standards and vocational nursing program expectations Strong communication and mentoring skills A collaborative, student-centered mindset
