The Noise and Masses Homologation Specialist is the in-house regulatory requirements lead for Pass-by and Stationary Noise System. This Specialist must evaluate designs and create a certification plan. They assist engineering in the development of systems as well as assist in negotiation with foreign government(s) to accept compliance documentation from the organization and suppliers.

Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. Other Engineering degrees with combined experience will be considered.
- Minimum THREE (3) years of engineering experience
- Experience in chassis and powertrain systems and sub-systems with engineering release experience
Must have extensive knowledge of the global regulations that cover the Masses and Dimensions Pass by Noise Stationary Noise regulations and work with and lead cross-functional teams (e.g. engineering manufacturing quality service legal witness agency and testing labs) to ensure successful compliance testing completion prior to defined due dates
Preferred Requirements:
- Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering
- Problem Solving and Decision Making knowledge (Kepner Trego)
- Strong behavioral skills: ability to make tough decisions act with integrity keep things simple deliver as a way of life reach for discontinuity
- Knowledge of worldwide Noise and Masses regulations
- Excellent technical writing and verbal communications skills
