Job Description

This is a remote position.

Schedule: Monday to Friday flexible between 9:00 AM 6:00 PM UK time
Total Weekly Hours: 20 hours

Our client is looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Content & Editorial Assistant to help manage blog content email marketing and editorial planning. This role is perfect for someone experienced with WordPress confident in proofreading and comfortable working in a digital collaborative team environment. Youll work closely with the Founder and Social Media Manager to ensure content runs smoothly across platforms.


Key Responsibilities
  • Upload format and organize blog posts in WordPress including internal linking and image placement

  • Lightly proofread blog posts for grammar formatting and overall flow

  • Draft design and schedule weekly email newsletters using tools like MailerLite Flodesk or ConvertKit

  • Monitor and manage the blog s email inbox; respond to basic queries or escalate as needed

  • Track tasks and deliverables using Notion Basecamp or similar project management tools

  • Coordinate with the Social Media Manager to align content and track weekly updates

  • Maintain an accurate content calendar with published content upcoming ideas and editorial goals

  • Track basic analytics weekly (blog traffic email open rates social growth)

  • Compile monthly performance reports to help inform future content planning



Requirements
  • Basic to intermediate experience with WordPress (uploading formatting adding images/links)

  • Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail

  • Familiarity with email marketing platforms like MailerLite Flodesk or ConvertKit

  • Strong written English skills for light editing and proofreading

  • Reliable proactive communicator comfortable working with small teams

  • Quick to learn new tools (e.g. Notion Canva MailerLite)

  • Able to work independently and consistently meet deadlines

  • Proficient in Google Workspace (Docs Sheets) and task management tools
