Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Mid-Level QA Engineer to join our onsite team in Dhaka. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality of our software products by designing executing and automating tests as well as working closely with developers and business analysts.
Key Responsibilities
- Design develop and execute test cases (manual and automated) based on product requirements and specifications.
- Perform functional regression integration system and user acceptance testing.
- Identify document and track bugs using industry-standard tools (e.g. Jira Bugzilla).
- Collaborate closely with developers business analysts and product managers to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
- Review and analyze user stories acceptance criteria and technical specifications.
- Create and maintain test documentation test plans and test reports.
- Automate repetitive test scenarios using tools such as Selenium Cypress or similar.
- Participate in Agile development cycles and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes.
- Ensure applications meet high standards of quality performance and reliability before release.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
- 2 years of hands-on experience in software quality assurance and testing.
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies tools and processes.
- Experience with test automation tools (Selenium Cypress Playwright or similar).
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and defect tracking tools (Jira etc.).
- Understanding of web and mobile application testing.
- Basic knowledge of SQL for database testing.
- Excellent analytical problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in an onsite collaborative team environment.
- Experience testing APIs (Postman REST Assured).
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
- ISTQB or other relevant QA certifications.
- Experience in performance and security testing.
