About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented DevOps Engineer with 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience to join our growing engineering team. In this role you will be responsible for automating scaling and optimizing our cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines ensuring high availability performance and security across all environments.
Key Responsibilities
CI/CD Automation: Design implement and manage robust CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions Jenkins GitLab CI or similar.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Develop and manage infrastructure using tools like Terraform CloudFormation or Pulumi.
Cloud Management: Build maintain and optimize cloud environments (AWS/GCP/Azure) including provisioning cost monitoring and scaling.
Containerization & Orchestration: Manage and deploy applications using Docker and Kubernetes (preferably EKS/GKE/AKS).
Monitoring & Alerting: Set up observability tools (Prometheus Grafana ELK Datadog etc.) to ensure system health and quick incident response.
Security & Compliance: Implement DevSecOps best practices including secrets management vulnerability scanning (SAST DAST) and IAM policies.
Collaboration: Work closely with developers QA and security teams to streamline development and deployment workflows.
Incident Response & Troubleshooting: Participate in on-call rotations and quickly address system outages and performance issues.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field.
35 years of hands-on experience in DevOps Site Reliability Engineering or Cloud Infrastructure roles.
Strong experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions GitLab CI Jenkins etc.)
Solid expertise in infrastructure as code tools like Terraform Ansible or CloudFormation.
Proficiency in managing and automating deployments on cloud platforms (AWS GCP or Azure).
Hands-on experience with containerization and Kubernetes.
Familiarity with scripting languages (Bash Python or Go).
Experience with monitoring alerting and logging tools.
Strong understanding of networking security and load balancing in cloud environments.
Familiarity with version control (Git) and agile development practices.
Qualifications :
Certification in AWS/GCP/Azure (e.g. AWS Certified DevOps Engineer).
Certification in Kubernetes like CKA/CKAD
Experience working in regulated environments (e.g. HIPAA SOC2 ISO 27001).
Exposure to service mesh (Istio/Linkerd) API gateways or serverless architecture.
Experience in DevSecOps and integrating security into CI/CD pipelines.
Knowledge of database and storage optimization in cloud environments.
