You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailWe are seeking a passionate and dedicated Research Assistant (Grade 2) to join the Family Interaction Program within the School of Applied Psychology. This program is focused on advancing research in parenting and delivering impactful evidence-based parenting interventions such as Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT).
In this role you will:
Support families by delivering PCIT and related parenting support programs.
Work closely with the research team and lead investigator to support project delivery and research activities.
Coordinate with external agencies such as Child Safety Health and Education to promote services and manage referrals.
Assist in project administration supervision meetings and ethical compliance.
Be part of a supportive research community working to improve parenting outcomes and child wellbeing.
This is a fixed term (until 30 June 2028) part-time (40%) position primarily based at Griffith University Gold Coast campus. As Griffith is a multi-campus University you may be required to work across other campus locations.
Griffith Universitys sites are located on the lands of the Yugarabul Yuggera Jagera Turrbal Yugambeh and Kombumerri peoples.
Salary Range
The full time equivalent base salary for a level RA2 will range $84335 - $88689 per annum 17% superannuation. The total FTE package will be in the range $98671 - $103766 per annum.
About You
You will bring:
A Bachelors degree with Honours in Psychology or a related field or an equivalent combination of relevant qualifications and/or experience.
A genuine interest in child development parenting programs and applied psychological research.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams and stakeholders.
A commitment to ethical research practice and contributing to a positive inclusive workplace culture.
