HireNow Staffing is seeking a Senior Water Resources Engineer / Project Manager for a respected civil engineering and environmental consulting firm located in Austin TX. This is an excellent opportunity for a results-driven professional ready to lead water resource projects from concept to completion.
About the Role:
In this senior-level role you will oversee planning design and management of water resources projects involving stormwater systems drainage design flood control and hydrologic/hydraulic modeling. Youll serve as both a technical expert and client liaison delivering high-quality results while mentoring junior engineers.
Responsibilities:

Lead water resource engineering projects including stormwater management flood studies and drainage system design.

Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic modeling using tools such as HEC-HMS HEC-RAS and XP-SWMM.

Manage client relationships and project timelines budgets and team coordination.

Prepare technical reports proposals and presentations for clients and stakeholders.

Ensure compliance with local state and federal regulations.
Qualifications:

Bachelors or masters in civil or environmental engineering.

PE license in Texas (or ability to obtain).

8 years of experience in water resources or stormwater engineering.

Strong proficiency in modeling software (e.g. HEC-RAS HEC-HMS AutoCAD Civil 3D).

Demonstrated leadership in managing projects and mentoring engineering staff.
