In particular you will:
Performs venting purge and vacuum of specialty mixes and pure gas cylinders.
Operates multiple blow-down panels.
Responsible for safe operation in processing high-pressure cylinders using manifolds vacuum pumps valves gases and pneumatic tools.
Performs installation and removal of CGA valves in cylinders.
Operates forklift.
Enters data in Production Planning software.
Moves prepared product to fill stage area.
Sort cylinders by type and CGA.
Other duties as assigned.
High school diploma or equivalent required; 1-2 years experience in cylinder handling preferred.
Candidates must have valid employment authorization in the U.S. and must not require visa sponsorship now or in the future. This position is not open for non-immigrant visa sponsorship.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word Excel PowerPoint and Outlook)
Ability to read analyze and interpret complex instructions such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information to co-workers.
Pay: $20.00 per hour. Hours: M-Th 7am to 5:30pm or Tues through Friday 7am to 5:30pm.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently required to stand; use hands to finger handle or feel objects tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; and climb or balance. Ability to walk and move heavy equipment is essential.
The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally move up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include color vision.
