We are looking for a hardworking self-starting professional that is organized and excited to support our organization.
As an Infrastructure Support Operations (ISO) Intern you will be supporting the team and our community of end users by assisting with asset management employee lifecycle operations management and other areas of customer support utilizing the latest technology. The ideal candidate is passionate about driving innovation enjoys partnering with internal teams and providing operational direction and support. Most of all you enjoy working with an organization whose vision is for a society where every person can realize their potential.
What You Will Do
- Ability to work on-sitein our Arlington VA officeMondayFriday (40 hours per week)
- Greeting customers and ensuring quality customer service
- Assistingwalk-upcustomers with creating IT support tickets
- Assisting with assets and inventory management through shipping receiving and updating device information in an asset tracking system
- Device wipes/diagnostics
- Help improve efficiency documentation and operations.
- Assisting with prepping for conferences and other big events
- Breaking down supply boxes
- Responsible for working with IT team to meet deadlines on group projects andone-offrequests
What You Will Bring
- Must be pursuing a degree or graduated (preferably within IT MIS or related fields)
- At least 1 year of Microsoft Office experience
- Strong communication skills
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks with a consistent level of excellence
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with other members of the ISO team
- Integrity humility and an entrepreneurial attitude
- A positive attitude and an earnest interest in providing good customer service
- Familiarity with mobile devices such as iOS
- A readiness to learn new systems and tools
- A problem-solving mindset and willingness to jump in wherever needed
