Do you thrive on turning data into actionable insights Join us as a Senior Data Engineer and help build robust data pipelines and scalable solutions that drive our business forward.
What you will do:
- Structure end-to-end data extraction transformation and storage processes using serverless AWS or Azure services to deploy analytical solutions and models.
- Develop and maintain ETL processes in Python including building logic and ensuring data lineage and operator inputs.
- Implement and expand Python packages for ETL workflows focusing on modularity and maintainability.
- Design and implement company data standards as database models ensuring efficient data flow throughout the organization.
- Write and maintain unit and integration tests for Python modules to ensure high code quality.
- Actively participate in mission-critical processes of the data pipeline.
- Provide technical support to help translate business challenges into smart data products.
What you bring:
- A degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Confidence working with databases and excellent SQL skills.
- Solid Python experience - you know how to write clean scalable code and build tests (unit testing) and work with object-oriented programming (OOP).
- Hands-on experience with cloud services - AWS (including SageMaker) or Azure is a big plus.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform.
- Experience working with large datasets using Spark or RDBMS.
- Comfortable working with version control (Git) and in a DevOps-oriented environment.
- Basic understanding of how machine learning models are deployed and monitored - or a strong interest in learning more about this area.
- A passion for machine learning and a desire to grow your skills in this direction.
- A collaborative team-oriented mindset - you enjoy working in agile environments.
- Fluency in English - youll use it every day!
