Job Description
Make a Real Impact as an A Level Computer Science Tutor.
Are you a passionate educator making a difference in the lives of students We are looking for experienced and dedicated tutors. Youll provide personalised 1:1 or small group support in Computer Science for A Level students. These in-person sessions in Kensington offer the chance to work closely with students helping them build skills and confidence in a supportive and tailored learning environment.

Monday 10:40 - 12:35
Tuesday 1:20 to 12:35 and 14:00 - 16:00
Wednesday: 8:30 - 10:15
Thursday: 10:40 - 12:35
Friday: 14:00 - 16:00 - Subject and Level: A Level Computer Science
- Start date: Immediate start
- Rate of pay: 32.50
- Contract length: 13 Weeks
What Youll Do
- Develop and deliver tuition programmes in small groups or 1:1
- Provide tuition that is appropriate for the individuals/groups needs and study level
- Assessing any barriers to students learning and working to overcome these
- Monitoring student progress and producing reports
- Creating a positive and supportive learning environment
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the curriculum content and qualification frameworks youre providing subject tuition in
- Regularly reporting updates to the Tuition Programmes Manager
Requirements
Were looking for someone who has:
- A Bachelors degreein Computer Science or relevant subject
- 3 years of tutoring / teaching experience
- Experience working with students with EAL is preferred
- An ability to adapt lessons to suit different learning styles and needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The right to be self employed in the UK
