Linux Migration Consultant

Fully Remote

Initial 2-month Contract Role

450 - 500 Inside IR35

ECS Resource group are currently working with a Worlds Leading Technology Organisation who are looking for a Linux Migration Consultant to focus on the end-to-end migration from Linux infrastructure to KVM/Cloudstack environments.

As a Linux Migration Consultant you will be responsible for:

  • Lead and execute migrations from Linux to on-prem KVM/CloudStack environments
  • Work with CloudStack to provision and manage virtualized infrastructure
  • Assess existing Linux infrastructure and develop migration strategies
  • Perform in-depth Linux systems administration and automation during migration processes.

Please note the below requirements are essential and candidates without this will not be considered:

  • Previous experience working as a Linux Engineer specifically around migrations
  • Demonstratable experience migrating workloads from Linux to KVM/CloudStack
  • Hands-on experience with KVM virtualization
  • Expertise in Linux administration (RHEL CentOS Ubuntu etc.)
