The opportunity:
We are currently seeking multiple Home Care Workers to join our compassionate and dedicated team. In this role youll provide individualised flexible and high-quality care to people in the community helping them maintain their independence and live well in their own homes.
Duties will include but not limited to: -
- Assisting in the provision of individualised care using a consumer-directed approach
- Helping clients with activities of daily living according to their care plans including personal care domestic assistance and social support
- Ensuring privacy confidentiality and dignity for all clients
- Responding to emergency situations using first aid
- Maintaining accurate records of client care
- Reporting any incidents or hazards
What you will need:
- Certificate III in Individual Support Aged Care or Community Services is highly desired
- Current Australian Drivers License and willing to travel
- Registered and insured vehicle
- Compassion empathy and a passion for helping others
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Confidence in using technology
