At Catapult we are assisting our member Stewart in their search for a Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) Field Technician I. This position will be in their Raleigh NC location.

What Youll Do:
- Work as a member of a SUE crew assisting in the performance of subsurface utility engineering (SUE) location utilizing the latest equipment and surveying technologies.
- Assist SUE Field Supervisor and other crew members with all aspects of the daily crew workload.
- Operator SUE instrumentation and equipment such as global positioning systems (GPS) data collectors EM locators ground penetrating radar and vacuum excavation equipment.
- Assist in the performance of SUE surveys to ascertain the locations of man-made structures of the Earths surface underground and underwater.
What Were Looking For:
- Basic understanding and knowledge of Subsurface Utility Engineering.
- Dependable and physically able to work outdoors and on construction sites in all weather conditions.
- Basic use of arithmetic and mathematics to perform calculations.
- Basic computer skills
- High School Degree or Equivalent
- Fluent and comprehensive understanding of the English language including reading writing and speaking required.
