Job Description

This is a First shift Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm position with some mandatory weekends.
TAT Technologies is looking for a qualified Landing Gear (LG) Parts Cleaning Technician. These Technicians will perform the following duties:
- Confirm correct parts and number of parts before starting cleaning process
- Prepare parts and assemblies for cleaning process according to work order
- Read work orders and follow instructions in order of operation with high attention to detail
- Maintains work areas and tools in a clean and organized manner practices proper tool and FOD control.
- Accurately complete work orders BOMs data inputs within ERP system.
- Reads and understands Commercial FAA EASA Repair Station and ISO documentations and other related materials.
- Operates maintains and services specialized equipment.
- Read and interprets maintenance manuals or other technical data to determine the feasibility and method to perform the assigned task.
- Must learn to read and interpret OEM repair manual instructions.
- Become an expert in the specialized processes for cleaning all parts.
- Work cross-functionally with the all operations departments
- Perform some light preventative maintenance to equipment and perform daily cleaning task of area.
- Cleaning and removing paint from parts using chemical paint stripper and blast cabinets.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED minimum.
- Experience in Honeywell 331 series APUs preferred.
- Ability to locate read and follow the technical data appropriate for the assigned task.
- Must be able to read write and understand English fluently.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment.
