Job Description
JOB# 1261 Packer/Stacker
Location: Ponder
Hours: 1st shift 6:45 AM- 3:45 PM (depending on when they are done) 2nd shift 3:45pm - 12:45am M-F 2:30am if OT and some Sat
Pay: First Shift $16.75 and Second Shift $17.75 ($16.75 $1.00 shift differential)
Local meat factory has openings for Packers and Stackers.
The Packer Position performs final checks to detect defective packages to ensure product meets customer specifications. Responsible for labeling filling boxes and using hand tools.
The Stacker Position is responsible for loading boxed products onto pallets following customer specifications. Verifying accurate labels and cases are taped.
Must be on the workstation ready to work and on time.
Good attendance is a MUST and flexible to working overtime and weekends as required.
Maintain a safe and sanitary work area in compliance with GMP and safety policies.
Work environment can be 40 degrees in the cooler or 0 degrees in the freezer.
