Amazon Consumables is looking for a talented data driven customer focused and creative Product Manager to join our Selection Team as the interface between our Core business and Worldwide Grocery Stores programs. As the Consumables Selection Team we own identifying and driving strategic initiatives to increase Selection for our Consumables businesses especially focused on Everyday Essentials.
Initiatives range from building new programs to optimize and improve the selection we offer our customers identifying new sources of selection for onboarding and developing workstreams to simplify listings across Consumables businesses. This role will work directly with multiple internal business technology and operations teams and leaders vendors and partner teams across Consumables business Whole Foods Market and Amazon Fresh.
Key job responsibilities - Collaborate with teams across Amazon to improve operational processes related to selection. - Be the subject matter expert for Consumables Retail across all our Grocery Store programs and initiatives. - Be the single threaded owner to partner with cross-company teams to drive process optimization and standardization around this work. - Identify process gaps and drive projects for sustained improvements influencing and working with technology operations and business teams and leaders. - Partner with product managers and tech teams to influence innovation on existing (or to build new) systems and tools to manage our growing Everyday Essentials catalog across multiple banners.

- 10 years of product or program management product marketing business development or technology experience - 10 years of blending product and program management skills to execute strategic initiatives about process creation standardization and improvement experience - Bachelors degree - Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition - Experience with end to end product delivery - Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product - Experience as a product manager or owner
