Job Summary

We are seeking a strategic and execution-focused Consumer Experience Technology lead to oversee the design delivery and performance of all consumer-facing digital products across Xponentials brand this role you will lead the evolution of web and mobile experiences that power member engagementfrom booking and subscriptions to real-time class interaction and profile management.

As a Director in the technology organization you will collaborate closely with product marketing data and engineering teams to ensure our digital platforms are seamless scalable and reflective of each brands identity. You will serve as the voice of the consumer in technical design decisionstranslating behavioral insights and brand goals into high-impact user-first digital solutions.

Responsibilities

Strategic & Technical Leadership

• Define and execute the technology roadmap for consumer-facing platforms aligned with brand priorities and enterprise goals.
• Champion a consistent scalable and intuitive member experience across all digital touchpointsweb mobile and emerging channels such as wearables.
• Represent the voice of the consumer in technical architecture and product design ensuring platforms evolve to meet behavior brand and performance expectations.

Cross-Functional Partnership & Collaboration

• Partner deeply with Marketing Field Operations and Brand leaders to shape digital experiences that reflect each brands unique identity and priorities.
• Serve as a strategic collaborator with Data AI Product and UX teams to embed behavioral insights and innovation into consumer applications.
• Ensure shared accountability for consumer impact across teamsbridging business goals and technical execution to deliver measurable outcomes.

Execution & Delivery

• Lead the full development lifecycle of consumer-facing applicationsfrom backlog planning through agile delivery and continuous improvement.
• Manage internal engineers and external partners to deliver high-quality features on time on budget and aligned with stakeholder expectations.
• Translate functional requirements into robust scalable and secure technology solutions that meet both immediate and long-term business needs.

Platform Reliability & Performance

• Maintain high levels of platform availability responsiveness and performanceespecially during peak usage and brand campaigns.
• Drive system stability and resilience through observability incident resolution and architectural optimization.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy accessibility and security standards across all consumer-facing platforms.

Innovation & Continuous Optimization

• Integrate AI-powered featuressuch as personalized experiences session recommendations and automated supportinto digital channels.
• Promote continuous platform evolution through experimentation user feedback and emerging technology assessments.
• Enable consistency and scale by championing shared frameworks modular components and multi-brand readiness.

Pay Range: $180000 - $200000

Education & Certifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related technical field (Masters preferred).
• Professional certifications (optional but beneficial): Agile/Scrum AWS or Azure cloud certifications Product or Architecture frameworks (e.g. TOGAF).

Professional Experience

• 10 years of experience in software engineering or technical product development with at least 35 years in a technical leadership role focused on consumer-facing digital platforms.
• Proven success in building and scaling modern web and mobile applications for high-volume consumer engagement.
• Demonstrated leadership in hybrid team environmentsmanaging internal engineers and coordinating with external vendors.
• Experience in agile delivery methodologies sprint planning and backlog management in a cross-functional setting.

Technical & Hands-On Skills

• Strong background in frontend development mobile platforms and API-first architecture.
• Expertise in designing secure scalable and high-performance consumer applications.
• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure and services (e.g. scalable compute storage CI/CD observability).
• Familiarity with secure payment processing identity management and privacy-by-design principles.
• Integration experience with enterprise systems such as CRM analytics and marketing automation tools.
• Awareness of AI/ML capabilities that enhance personalization engagement and automation in user journeys.
• Comfortable dedicating at least 10% of your time to hands-on architecture reviews prototyping or critical bug resolution.

Collaboration & Leadership

• Proven ability to work closely with non-technical stakeholderssuch as Marketing Field Ops and Brand teamsto shape digital experiences aligned with business goals.
• Strong communicator who can articulate complex technical topics to executive and cross-functional audiences.
• Ability to influence without authority and drive shared accountability for outcomes.
