Primary Purpose:

Responsible for key strategic customer relationships maintaining and expanding current business levels and revenue to increase Norfolk Southerns wallet share within your assigned market.

Principal Duties:

  • Account management and new business development to increase market share and support new or expanded industries accessible by NS within your assigned portfolio
  • Collaborate with customers to uncover growth opportunities and rail solutions beneficial to all parties
  • Be an effective communicator advocating for your customers and your markets across NS business units
  • Develop strategic plans through data analysis and customer engagement to spearhead contract negotiations to an outcome that expands NS business
  • Provide accurate and timely business reports forecasts sales trends market impacts and other information as needed.

Job Related Experience:

Minimum Level: 3-5 years Preferred Level: 6-10 years

Education:

Preferred Level: Bachelors Degree (MBA BBA)

Preferred Majors: Business
